Tickets and game passes
Earn Tickets by playing (about 150 per 15 minutes), clicking falling Tickets, and daily rewards. The store sells tickets for Robux and six game passes; Golden Tickets (129 Robux) gives 50% more falling Tickets and is the cheapest.
The short version
Everything in My Movie is reachable for free. Robux items are conveniences, not power. If you remember one thing from this page, that is it.
How to earn Tickets
| Method | What it pays | How it works |
|---|---|---|
| Playtime | About 150 Tickets per 15 minutes | Arrives on its own while you play or watch movies |
| Falling Tickets | 5–35 each | Little tickets drop around the world — click one to collect it |
| Daily bonus | Grows with a streak | Open the game once a day |
| Robux bundles | 500 / 2,000 / 10,000 / 60,000 / 150,000 Tickets | Bought with Robux. Fastest, not free |
If you are saving up for something, falling Tickets make the difference. A session spent clicking them beats hours of just playing. Watch the lobby floor — that is where they usually drop.
What Tickets buy
Tickets are the currency for creator items. They pay for:
- Clips — extra building blocks for movies.
- Poses — avatar poses that make characters do something specific.
- Stickers — decorative overlays for scenes.
- Themes — visual themes for the editor and interface (the dark editor look is one).
- Store items — background packs and similar extras.
- Play next — queue features for watching movies.
None of it is needed to make a movie. A first film can cost zero Tickets. You spend when you want a specific look or motion.
The game passes, honestly reviewed
The store's Game Passes category has six items. Here is what each one actually changes:
| Pass | What it does | Buy it if… |
|---|---|---|
| Golden Tickets | Falling Tickets turn golden — 50% more currency from each pickup | You play a lot and click Tickets often. Cheapest pass (129 Robux) |
| Longer Movie Length | Raises the length limit on a movie | You have actually hit the limit — most players do not |
| More Images | Raises the image cap on a movie | Your movies run out of picture slots |
| More Characters | Raises the character limit in a scene | You are staging crowd scenes |
| Infinite Speech | Speech and voice options for characters | Dialogue is a core part of your movies |
| Popcorn | Cinema-themed extra around watching | You want the cosmetic — it changes nothing about creating |
The rule experienced players give: play free for two weeks first. Buy only the limits you personally hit. Golden Tickets is the usual first buy — if you know you will play daily, it pays for itself.
Selling your movies — Promotions
The store has a Promotions category with a "Promote Your Movies" option. That is the only item aimed at getting your work seen instead of letting you build more.
Wait until you have a movie you are genuinely proud of. Promoting a weak film just gets more people to leave early.
